I MISS MY DOCTOR: PART II
You know what I love about work? Not just where I work but any workplace. I love my co-workers’ diagnosis. When I returned to work the day after spending five hours at the clinic with Dr. Awful, my co-workers were really kind and concerned and then offered their own diagnosis. The census was possible kidney stone, which two of my co-workers had experienced in the past and I had similar symptoms (no kidney stone).
One co-worker thought I was pregnant, but I shot down that quickly when I told her about the negative pregnancy test. The second co-worker recommended taking a home pregnancy test because apparently, the clinic test might not be good enough. But I love getting others’ diagnosis when I list my symptoms, and I also love hearing their medical horror (or non-horror) stories. Now, they all think I’m an alcoholic with Liver Fatty Disease.
