A new post is coming soon. I’m in the process of writing it, but I keep getting sidetracked. I know I haven’t posted something awesome in awhile, but I swear a post will be coming soon. In the meantime, I haven’t had any pop so far in January. I’m very proud of myself. I’ve gone back to drinking a cup of coffee in the morning for my caffeine fix.

The new year is here, which means Charlie and I will start car shopping soon! Yay! Plus, in a few more months, I can think about the baseball season and start planning a trip to Milwaukee. Also, the American Players Theatre should reveal its summer season! Woot! Did I ever blog about the American Players Theatre? I can’t remember.

Well, Charlie’s mom and I saw “Twelfth Night” in an outdoor theatre. The weather was a little warm, but the night was perfect. A slight breeze. No bugs. Beautiful. I loved it except for the stupid twentysomething girl in the seat in front of us. Even after the announcer politely asked the audience to turn off cell phone seconds before the play started, the stupid girl scrolled through her Facebook page for a good 20 minutes.

I was about to tap on her shoulder and say something, but Charlie’s mom beat me to it as soon as the stupid girl (and I don’t even feel bad for calling her “stupid girl” — mean, I know) raised her arm in the air with cell phone in hand to get a better reception. You should be watching a play not looking at photos and reading statuses on Facebooks!

Dumb girl. Anyway, Charlie and I attended a second play in the beginning of October when the weather was much, much cooler — and we both loved it! Being bundled up in our coats and mittens and covering our laps with a blanket was so much better than being hot and uncomfortable. At intermission, Charlie and I raced to the concession stand to buy $3 hot chocolate (each, by the way) and a cookie.

Anyway, the APT in Spring Green (google it) should reveal its new lineup in the coming months, and I can’t wait! So much to do and think about in the new year! Love it! I’ll be back with a new post soon.
