THE PEDICURE PREP: During my week stay in Iowa, Krissy, Tova, and I decided to have a girls day out, which meant heading to the local salon academy for a manicure and pedicure.
MY TINY LITTLE FEET: All my life I somehow managed to avoid pedicures for some reason. I’ve never really been interested in pampering my feet. Not to mention, my feet are extremely ticklish.
TOVA’S TINY LITTLE FEET: Eeeeeee! That’s the sound Krissy and Tova heard every now and then from me when my salon assistant massaged my feet. Tova picked a sparkly blue nail polish for her nails.
MY SUPER CLEAN FEET: Wow! My feet and calves look clean and feel amazing. I should probably start saving my pennies and nickels to afford more pedicures. I think I could get used to pedicures.
TOVA’S SPARKLY LITTLE TOES: Aren’t her little toes pretty? I can’t remember the last time I painted my toenails. My guess would be sometime in the 1990s. Nope not joking. My nails haven’t been painted in a long time.
MY CUTE LITTLE TOES: I normally don’t wear sandals — even during the spring and summer — so I needed a pair of the salon provided flip flops. I kicked them off as soon as we returned home.
OUR PRETTY LITTLE FINGERNAILS: I have to admit that I kind of miss having my nails painted. Sounds silly but I feel a little prettier with pretty painted nails. But I kind of doubt I will start painting my nails more often.
