Yup, I’m edging closer to the world of digital photobooks. I recently received my first 8×8 photobook, and I absolutely love it. Love. It. From the personalized cover to the very last page, I love most everything about the book. I’m not too thrilled about some of the photos bleeding off the pages, but that’s something I can keep in mind for future projects. When I come across another 50% off (or higher) deal, I might just order a photobook for myself.
I’m already collecting photos and working on the 2013 family photobook. This whole process has tempted me to start some major photo projects – reorganizing my old scrapbooks and photo albums and finding a home for my current scrapbooks. What I love most is the components I need are at my fingertips. Photos on Facebook. Quotes on Pinterest. Older pics on my laptop.
Best of all – no mess. I don’t have to reorganize my scrapbook supply. As long as I hit SAVE, my projects are ready to go next time I hop online. When I see another amazing photo deal, I can purchase completed projects for myself or others. I love the convenience of going digital, but in the end, I still have a book that I can flip through to remember all of the good times.
