THE GREAT HAWKEYE STATE
Hallelujah! I’m finally in Iowa! No more commuting between Iowa and Wisconsin! No more packing! Life is good. Life would be better if everything was unpacked. Of course during the first few days of being in Iowa, I catch a terrible cold, which delayed me from unpacking and moving stuff around in the new place. I am now feeling much much much better and now can begin focusing on unpacking and rearranging stuff. Yay!
Plus, I have a brand new spanking washer and dryer! AND. I. LOVE. IT. I don’t think I’ve ever been in love with a household appliance, but that’s OK because I love love love love love love having my own washer and dryer in my own place! No more stuffing laundry baskets full of clothes and then hauling it out to the car. No more laundromats. No more laundry days. I absolutely love my washer and dryer!
Now that I’m feeling better and have a bit more energy, I’m back to blogging, writing, refashioning, and unpacking! In the next couple of days, I will unveil my 2014 resolution/40 before 40 list. I can’t believe I’m turning 39 in a few months. Just today a complete stranger asked me what I was studying in college. God bless him and anyone else who thinks I’m still a college student.
