PHOTO RECAP 11: BRIGHT LIGHTS

With the days leading up to the Las Vegas trip, I didn’t take any pictures because I figured I would take a ton of photos of the Vegas nightlife. I was wrong. I completely picked the wrong time to visit the city that never sleeps because the weather was so incredibly hot and dry! As soon as I stepped into the desert heat, sweat just began to drip from my body. Incredibly gross.

THE VIEW FROM OUR HOTEL FLOOR — THE VDARA — ON THE 53RD FLOOR.

Due to heat, Charlie and I had no desire to walk up and down the strip during the day or even at night. I snapped some bright light pictures during the one night we walked around the strip, but after reviewing various shots, I only liked one photo. So, I didn’t capture as many bright light photos as I wanted, which is kind of disappointing but I’d rather enjoy air conditioning than deal with humidity and drunk college frat guys.

THE ONLY NIGHT SHOT I TRULY LIKED OUT OF THE MANY MANY I SNAPPED. I FORGOT HOW BUSY THE LAS VEGAS STRIP CAN BE AT NIGHT.

During the next couple of weeks, I’ll probably post a few short stories and pictures from the Las Vegas trip. Overall, I had a great time and won about $50 on the penny slot machines! Plus, Charlie and I were completely pampered at the hotel spa and cannot stop raving about the show, “Book of Mormon.” *sigh* I kind of miss Las Vegas already.
