WAIT A MINUTE … OR TWO
I know I shouldn’t complain about working, especially in today’s economy, but I miss sitting at home and working on various projects. Of course with time on my hands, I didn’t manage my time well at all and became pretty lazy about leaving the house. And now whenever I’m at work, I just long to be at home to clean something, cuddle with my kitties, or finish any projects. Honestly, I don’t mind working a few days here and there instead of 40 hours a week.
With my working hours dropping dramatically, I’m happy to return to my refashioning projects and blogging sites. I’m trying really hard to not feel overwhelmed whenever I look at ONE of my refashioning piles or scroll through a mass of photos on my phone. Although unfinished projects make me feel lazy and a little frustrated, I know the projects are incomplete for a reason — missing a component or something.
Avoiding unfinished projects is pretty easy. With an employee discount, a store discount app, and a good clearance rack, I have a very hard time resisting super good deals at work and then I’m super excited to work on the new shirt. At this point, who wants to work on a boring unfinished project? Not me! But sooner or later, I have to sift through my refashion piles and unfinished projects or else I might need to start working full time again.
