I, Jennifer Elliott of, sign up as a participant of
Me-Made-May ’15. I endeavour to wear at least four refashioned or
me-made skirts per week for the duration of May 2015.

Last year, I stumbled upon this amazing May challenge, but I didn’t sign up because I felt I didn’t have too many me-made clothes in my wardrobe. What a difference makes! More than half the skirts are either refashioned or made by me! Sooner or later, I would really love to perfect refashioning tops.

Anyway, Me-Made-May 2015 is a wonderful challenge — created by So, Zo … What Do You Know? — for anyone who loves to sew, knit, crochet, etc. to wear their creations with pride and love. This is NOT a competition or a photo challenge (although people can post pictures of their creations).

I’m really excited to sign up for this challenge because I am so proud of my works over the past year. I’m still learning about refashioning and yearning to challenge myself even more. I’ve been looking forward to this challenge since last year, and I’m happy tomorrow is the beginning of May!
