March’s Challenge: 15,000 steps per day this week. At the end of the week, I’ll post pictures of my daily stats from my Fitbit account (I now need to figure out how to save a screen grab from my phone … hmmmmmm).

I’ve been wearing my Fitbit for a few months now and haven’t really been taking advantage of it. I love my Fitbit, especially the digital clock display and the sleep tracker (which is oddly accurate), but I haven’t used it to challenge myself physically. That changes today — this week. Hopefully.

Per the American Heart Association, the daily recommended steps is 10,000. Admittedly, I am nowhere close to that number some days as I spend most my time in front of a computer screen or my sewing machine. A downside of being a blogger and sewist (sewer? seamstress?), I suppose. To challenge myself and my legs, I set 15,000 steps a day as my goal. I can do this! I think …
