2016 RESOLUTION: UPDATED CHALLENGES

So, my 2016 resolution is to complete 12 challenges during the year. I am still struggling to complete Challenge 2, but I added two more good challenges to my list. Wish me luck!
CHALLENGE 1: 7 refashions 7 days.
CHALLENGE 2: Achieve 15,000 steps per day in one week.
When I set this challenge for myself, I don’t think I realized how hard it would be to achieve! 15,000 steps per day is A LOT of walking. My sisters and I walked EVERYWHERE during our Minnesota trip last month, and not once did I hit the 15,000 steps in one day. I was close — 13, 125 steps — one day and a little over 10,000 steps two other days. Ugh, I honestly didn’t realize this challenge would be so hard. On the bright side, I achieved my daily step goal that week.
CHALLENGE 3: Read 50 books between now and the end of the year.
So far, “The Queen’s Rival” by Diane Haeger. For some reason, I’m drawn to the English monarch right now, especially the Tudor era. I don’t know if I should proud of myself for naming the six wives of Henry VIII (Katherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anne Cleves, Catherine Howard, and Catherine Parr). One minor complaint, couldn’t people think of other names besides Elizabeth, Mary, Anne, and Catherine?
CHALLENGE 4: Participate and challenge myself in Me Made May 2016.
“I, Jennifer Elliott at jenniferelliott14.com, sign up as a participant of Me-Made-May ’16. I endeavour to wear at least three refashioned items per week and refashion five new garments in May 2016.”
